Blurb
Etty Steele is a vampire hunter. There’s only one problem – she doesn’t have her hunter powers. No super-strength, no super-speed. Nothing.
When she goes back to school after the summer, she’s surprised to find a new boy has joined her class. Even more surprising – he’s a vampire!
If only there was a way to stake him through the heart without anyone noticing.

Review
Many thanks to the author for providing me with this copy of Etty Steele Vampire Hunter in exchange for an honest review.
Etty Steele is a sixth grade vampire hunter, who’s mother is determined for her to be the best. When a new boy, Dimi, joins her class at school, he shows all the signs of being a vampire, but he doesn’t seem like the evil monster her mother has told her all vampires are.
While Etty struggles to figure out whether Dimi is in fact a vampire, she’ll need to decide whether to follow what she’s always believed, or what she can see in front of her.
This was such a cute book for middle grade readers. I loved the fact that Etty wasn’t “all good” and had to try and navigate her way through several issues (such as being accused of bullying and what friendship really means). It was a quick read that was a lot of fun, with some really great messages throughout the story. I’m looking forward to the rest of the series!
