Being a huge animal lover, I fell in love with the covers and premise of these books right away. P.C. Cast creates a detailed world and scenes that capture the imagination. The Tales of the New World series is set in a post apocalyptic world, where tribes have been formed, each one with it’s own distinct features. The series is an epic fantasy, where we follow humans and their animal allies as they navigate the dangerous world they live in. I’m sure any animal lover will be able to relate to the animal companions that form such a big part of these stories. The character driven writing and heart stopping themes make for compelling reading!
