Australian Book Subscription Box Review: Cre8ive Inspir8ions
When the lovely Nicky from Cre8ive Inspir8ions asked if I’d like to review one of her YA boxes, I jumped at the chance. I’d already seen some recent unboxings of previous boxes and they looked fabulous!
Now if you’re in Australia, like me, you’ll know it’s not super easy to find great book boxes. There just aren’t many around. So I was extra excited to try out an Aussie box!
The box I received for review was the December “Intergalactic Voyages” box.
The book of the month was Navigating the Stars by Maria V. Snyder. This looks fantastic. I haven’t read any books by this author yet, so I’m really excited to read it. There was also an exclusive letter from Maria V. Snyder AND a signed book plate! (Each book plate even came with a different message, which is such a nice touch!)
There were also some truly unique items included that I’ve never received in book boxes before:
These super awesome Space Invaders decal stickers just exploded by 80’s kid heart. I’m probably going to have to fight my husband for them, but when I win, they’ll be going on my IPad and computer.
This Galaxy nail kit was also so unique and lots of fun!
I am absolutely in love with this galaxy bath bomb and have NO IDEA how I’ll ever actually be able to use it. I will cry. I might have to turn it into an ornament instead, just so I can keep it forever.
A stunning exclusive Lost in Space bookmark that has room for reviewing a book on the back!
This incredible art print was designed by a local artist, Carmel Cox, and came mounted in a thick cardboard frame. I almost always just file my art prints away when I get them in boxes, because I will ‘get around to framing them one day’. this one has gone straight up onto the shelf because the work was done for me!
And, last but not least, it’s well known that I can ALWAYS BE WON OVER WITH FOOD. Especially when it’s in the form of RING LOLLIPOPS! Ahhh I used to rock these when I was about 8 years old and they were so COOL.
This was such a wonderful box and I’d highly recommend giving them a try!
Cre8ive Inspir8ions have two different options for boxes in their shop, so if YA isn’t your thing, you can also check out their Indulgence box, which is an all genre box.
Currently both the YA and Indulgence box ship within Australia and New Zealand only and cost $49.95 plus shipping. There are 3 and 6 month subscriptions available. They have also just released a Lite option – it’s $25 a month and includes a brand new release book, a bookmark and a small gift!
