My wrap up for May

I read fourteen books this month including a re-listen to a couple of my old favourites on audiobook.

My five stars for this month were:

Peter Green and the Unliving Academy: An amazing middle grade read about a boy who wakes up dead and finds himself attending a school that’s not quite like any other.

King of Fools:  The incredible sequel to Ace of Shades, which I loved last year!

DEV1AT3: The sequel to LIFEL1K3, which has MY WHOLE HEART.  This series includes some of my all time favourite characters and I’ll never get enough of it!

Special mentions also go to – Stepsister, The Black Coats, The Forgetting, Finale and Malamander!

And of course, my two re-reads of Tom Holt’s Barking and The Portable Door are still some of my favourite books.  If you love magical realism and dry wit, and haven’t tried Tom Holt, I’d highly recommend giving his books a try!

As usual, clicking on the pics below will take you to my reviews 🙂

Let me know in the comments what your favourite read was for May!

  1. I have not read any of these and I’m very much tempted too. You read a lot! I’ve been busy with so many things, trying to keep my life together. I should take a break and read more too haha
