I read 18 books this month, including 3 audiobooks, and there were some seriously awesome reads!

My five stars for this month were:

Pan’s Labyrinth: I’ve never seen the movie and had no idea what to expect, but I absolutely loved this one!

The Kingdom:  A brilliant sci-fi book that I highly recommend!

Becoming the Dark Prince: A Stalking Jack the Ripper novella. I loved getting a glimpse back into Thomas & Audrey’s lives 💗

Heart of Mist:  Absolutely adored this magical, fast paced read!

The Hate U Give:  Whyyy did I wait until now to get around to reading this one?!  It was utterly brilliant!

Heartstream:  A totally unexpected favourite.  An awesome ‘Black Mirror’ style story that had me captivated from beginning to end.

Sorcery of Thorns:  One of my new favourite books!  Magical libraries, dangerous books, demons, it had EVERYTHING I ever wanted!

City of Ghosts:  It’s taken me ages to get around to this one and I finally listened to it on audio.  It was an amazing middle grade ghost story!

City of Girls:  This one surprised me so much!  I don’t usually read historical fiction, so I didn’t have high hopes.  It was incredible and I’d highly recommend checking it out!

Sea Witch Rising:  One of my most anticipated books after loving Sea Witch last year!  It did not disappoint. 💓

As usual, clicking on the pics below will take you to my reviews (Some reviews may not be live on my blog yet as I post them on the book’s release date due to publisher’s requests)  🙂

Let me know in the comments what your favourite read was for July!
