In this funny and frothy novella that picks up where the New York Times bestselling The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue leaves off, freshly minted couple Monty and Percy fumble through their first time together.
Monty’s epic grand tour may be over, but now that he and Percy are finally a couple, he realizes there is something more nerve-wracking than being chased across Europe: getting together with the person you love.
Will the romantic allure of Santorini make his first time with Percy magical, or will all the anticipation and build-up completely spoil the mood?
Review
This is a novella companion book to The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue
I loved The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue and Monty and Percy were one of my all time favourite couples, so I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this one! I loved it SO much. I didn’t think it was possible to love these two boys any more than I already did, but I was wrong. This short novella was sweet, sad and hilariously funny. I just wanted to put it down and then pick it up to read it all over again.
Monty finds himself incredibly nervous about initiating his first sexual encounter with Percy, and Felicity’s attempts to help are making it infinitely worse. As they both navigate their way through the awkwardness of this stage in their relationship, I, for one, was grinning like an idiot.
This review is incredibly short, I know, but so is the novella. If you loved A Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue, like I did, make sure you pick this one up.
