My wrap up forJuly
I managed to get quite a lot of reading in during July. I found some great e-books on sale and downloaded a bunch too, so I’ll be making my way through the ones I didn’t get to this month in August, especially since I got a brand new, updated Kindle for my birthday!
My favourites for this month were (reviews can be found by clicking the pictures below):
Leaving Blackwood: I was lucky enough to read the manuscript of Leaving Blackwood (the sequel to Welcome to Blackwood) and it was just as wonderful as the first book. I can’t wait for you guys to see it once it releases!
Stranded: 8 strangers are sent to a deserted island to live for a year. Stranded is a super intense, often terrifying book that I could not put down!
Jurassic Park (reread): I hardly ever reread books, but this was my third re-read of this one. If you haven’t read the book, but loved the movie, I’d highly recommend picking this one up.
Anything But Fine: One of my absolute favourites for August! Luca’s dreams have fallen apart and, even worse, he’s got a major crush on a straight guy, when there’s no way his heart can take any more breaking. Full of heart and humour, Anything but Fine is one you need to add to your TBR!
Other People’s Things: A quirky and unique book about a woman who feels compelled to move objects from one place to another, with consequences that don’t just end with the illegal nature of the ‘stolen’ goods.
The Threat Below: A fantastic adventure story full of difficult friendships, dangerous treks and a mind blowing twist
My House Plant Changed My Life: A brilliant non-fiction look at the requirements for several popular house plants, in a beautiful, easy to read layout. Whether you’re a seasoned plant lover or you’ve just jumped on the house plant bandwagon, this book is a helpful and pretty addition to the shelf!
As usual, clicking on the pics below will take you to my reviews (Some reviews may not be live on my blog yet as I post them on the book’s release date due to publisher’s requests, so keep your eye on my blog for those reviews in July) 🙂
Let me know in the comments what your favourite read was for July!
I have seen Anything but Fine around but now you got me intrigued.
