My wrap up for October
How did your reading go this month? Any new favourites? I’m getting used to only reading half the number of books I used to read and it’s helping me to enjoy reading a lot more (without the constant stress of trying to keep up with every ARC and new book I get). I also opened a new Etsy shop for editable invitations this month, so I’ve been extra busy getting that up and running! (You can see my new shop here if you’re interested to see what I’ve been working on)
My favourite books for this month were (reviews can be found by clicking the pictures below):
Kingdom of the Cursed: I’d been eagerly awaiting the release of this one and it did not disappoint! A bit spicier than the first book and I love where the story is going.
Beasts of Prey: This was such a fantastic read! Monsters, mystery and absolutely brilliant characters!
Small Favors: I picked this one up because of the cover but I’m SO glad I did! I loved this story that reminded me of one of my favourite Stephen King books – Needful Things.
The New Wife: A twisty and heartbreaking read about the aftermath (and mystery of) a young wife’s murder
A Ruin of Roses: A fantastic, spicy Beauty and the Beast retelling that I loved! There are some new favourite characters for me here and I absolutely cant wait to read the next book!
The Banksia House Breakout: Another book with one of my favourite tropes, sassy, fun and sweet seniors! A roadtrip, friendships and adventure, I highly recommend this one.
As usual, clicking on the pics below will take you to my reviews (Some reviews may not be live on my blog yet as I post them on the book’s release date due to publisher’s requests, so keep your eye on my blog for those reviews in November) 🙂
Let me know in the comments what your favourite read was for October!
