Wanted:
One (very real) husband
Nowhere near perfect but desperately trying his best

In BOYFRIEND MATERIAL, Luc and Oliver met, pretended to fall in love, fell in love for real, dealt with heartbreak and disappointment and family and friends…and somehow figured out a way to make it work. Now it seems like everyone around them is getting married, and Luc’s feeling the social pressure to propose. But it’ll take more than four weddings, a funeral, and a bowl full of special curry to get these two from I don’t know what I’m doing to I do.

Good thing Oliver is such perfect HUSBAND MATERIAL.

Review

Thank you so much to New South Books for providing me with a copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review!

Everyone around them is settling down – getting married, even Luc’s ex is walking down the aisle. Now with a whirlwind of disasters going on around them, Luc’s left wondering if he and Oliver should be doing the same.  But does the fact they can’t seem to agree on a single thing in wedding planning mean their relationship is doomed forever?

I was SO excited to read Husband Material, after loving Boyfriend Material, but also…terrified. Sequels to books I love just completely freak me out, because what if they can’t live up to the first book? And it happens SO often. But this time, THIS TIME, that did not happen!! Husband Material was just as amazing IF NOT MORE SO than the first book 🎉 😭 😍 I laughed (hysterically, so often that my husband gave up asking what was going on), I cried and Oliver and Luc further cemented themselves as one of my all time favourite couples.  This series so far has been everything I want from a rom-com.

I see there are 2 more books planned for this series and I am notorious for bowing out part way through series because I just can’t be bothered to finish them, but I’ve got everything crossed they stay in the same witty and sweet vibe and I make the time to read them.
